About the Event

We possess an innate ability to impact others. Polyvagal Theory suggests that we’ve evolved to affect each other’s nervous systems, before and beyond any practices or interventions we may share.

As we become more mindful of this impact, how do we invite greater emotional regulation and co-regulation into the spaces we design, create, or inhabit?

Using the Pearse Polyvagal Habitats model and Acceptance and Commitment Training, we will explore ideas and practices which encourage more connection to self and others, greater potential for learning, and more capacity for creativity and insight.

However, we cannot offer to others that which we do not have ourselves. Our ability to regulate another person’s nervous system in a positive way is connected to how well resourced, nourished, and grounded we are.

So we will also touch on regenerative practices to support ourselves in our service of others.

This Learning Lab will be held in conjunction with Anya Pearse, an intuitive advisor and fellow of the Positive Psychology Guild, who connects self-compassion, self-as-instrument, and polyvagal theory to support change-makers and wellbeing practitioners in making self-compassion a habit.

This event has a group. You’re welcome to join the group once you register for the event.
